I haul oversize loads and needed a 100’ tape.After a quick research, steel was the way I wanted to go for the sake of durability.I used to have Milwaukee, DeWalt and a off brand version. They all three had issues of getting mud inside, then causing issues from there. This one is spaced out enough I’ll still be able to roll it back up and clean later when the customer or time is a pressing issue.This will take a beating, people have stepped on it, it’s been thrown and not caught. It still works like day 1.I’ve cleaned it a few times just by using a soapy wet rag and reeling it in while holding firmly on the tape with the rag.Numbers are easily readable.The hook is still staying strong.Don’t know… If you want a great 100’ tape, get this one.
