Each piece is hand painted custom to order in our studio in Stewartstown, PA. This piece has been painted in an ombre technique, starting with a metallic bronze and fading to a metallic silver. The metallic sheen adds a bit of luxury to an otherwise rustic cabin or mountain retreat. Recommendations for Hanging your Mount:The faux deer head has a small keyhole on the back for easy mounting. Hang the head with the keyhole on a strong screw (not included). Try to screw into a stud or, if not able, use a drywall anchor.Although our faux mount is light in weight, please do not hang it directly above a bed or baby crib.This item comes with the antlers separate from the the head. It is easier and safer to glue the antlers into the head before hanging them. This is especially true in high traffic areas. The antlers are labeled "L" for "Left" and "R" for "Right". We suggest super glue, namely Loctite Gel Control Super Glue for a strong bond (please note that this is not included with your product.)
