The Leman Gris Graphite model brings together Caran d'Ache's two major areas of expertise: Fine Writing and Colours, while the company's recognised savoir-faire in working with graphite has produced this particular shade. Some people see it as suggesting the deep melancholy of the night, others see a stormy sky reflected in the lake with shadowy clouds tinting the surface of the water. There are a few changes, however. The grey lacquer of its softly rounded shape is dramatically contrasted by a silvered, rhodium-coated ring engraved with the Caran d'Ache name and the Swiss Made logo.
