Had to send this back...previously bought the 8.5 EW which should have been great but they were very tight across the top of my foot so I ordered the 9 EW thinking this would help. WRONG. While the 9 was longer it had the same problem, very tight across the top of foot. So maybe they would stretch after wearing but then not returnable. Why would an extra wide shoe not have extra space at the top of the foot?? Wouldn't the manufacturer realize that extra space at the top was reasonable ? After all they are lace-up so you could tighten then as needed...POOR Design.I loved the style and wanted too love the shoe but no joy..
