I have the Ambition with the pear wood barrel. This has a very different feel. It is the smoothest xf I have ever used. The cap is beautiful. Smooth metal barrel with ridges for a good grip. Observations not complaints : no cartridge included to get you started, $225 for a steel nib might be on the high side. Heavy for some folks.I do like this pen. If you try this brand - get this pen. Amazingly smooth Western xf. Comparable to a Japanese fine, accurate nib classification here. I would have given it 5 stars except for the $225 steel nib.
